Effect of Ethanol on Living Beings:
When large quantities of alcohol/ethanol are consumed, it tends to slow metabolic processes and depress the central nervous system which in turn results in lack of coordination, drowsiness, mental confusion, lowering of the normal inhibitors and finally tumor. The individual may be relaxed but does not realise that his sense of judgement and muscular coordination have been seriously impaired.
